I quickly registered, got a bottle of water, red balloon and a placard. I was ready and excited to be apart of spreading Hope and Prosperity in our beautiful City.
Then he released for them Barabbas, and having scourged Jesus, delivered him to be crucified. Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the governor’s headquarters, and they gathered the whole battalion before him. And they stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on his head and put a reed in his right hand. As we are in Holy Week, the walk also highlighted the scenes of Jesus carrying the Cross before he would be crucified for our sins, we walked towards Parliament singing Koorkies and chanting “Jesus for Cape Town, Cape Town for Jesus”….the pray is for Jesus to heal our land and bring Rain from Heaven.
Young and old joined in the March, singing and chanting, this got me excited and I really felt a sense of Hope seeing so many people join in one voice. We stopped at Parliament and the prays that went out was a real moving experience. We prayed for our Government, we prayed for the Youth, we prayed for our Country, we prayed for everyone who needs healing and reaffirming the fact that God Loves Us All…

I am really thankful for the blessing to have been apart of todays march, my pray is that the Holy Spirit rains on us all and that we keep in mind the reason for the season.
