Our mini roadtrip lead us to Saldanha and the change of scenery did wonders to the mind, body and soul. Driving into the town has that calming holiday feeling, must be the sea air.
Getting there is another story luckily there is such a thing as google maps otherwise you might end up on a dirt road to Hopefield.
Did I mention we were in Saldanha to celebrate a young talented lady’s birthday and yes a selfie was taken..

When in another town the best way to take in the surroundings is visiting the local hangout spot…in this case it is The Funky Lemon. Random tip of the day and a helpful tip to Google, please add speedbumps to the next update of Google maps it will be highly appreciated thank you.
You know a club is awesome when the stamp you get on a Sunday morning says Funky Friday hahaha memories the West Coast really has that chill factor, timeless.
Thank you Saldanha and the birthday girl for a weekend of note there is a reason the number plates read CFG this place will suck you in and you’ll want to Come For Good.

One last random point it feels like all roads into and out of Saldanha lead to Saldanha Steel the place looks like a scene out of the movie Mad Max, pretty cool.
