Imagine an event that combines one of South Africa’s most loved sports, music, food and social development with the iconic Table Mountain in the background….

Well look no further as Cape Town welcomes you to the most exciting amateur 6’s cricket event in the world.

The 2 day festival (19–20 March 2016) features seven cricket leagues, a food of the nations village, a Bigger Than Me change precinct, a kids and family area and ends with a music concert on the Sunday (Monday is a public holiday) featuring the legendary South African band Mango Groove, Jimmy Nevis, The Kiffness and Rory Elliot.

This event is for everyone bring the family down to Greenpoint Cricket Club to enjoy a day of fun in the sun and get your GROOVE on, no need to be NEVIS because the next day is a public holiday, now that’s what I call KIFFness. Did I mention that there is a social development effort too, this means that by supporting you are helping to HIT POVERTY FOR A SIX…

“I am delighted to have been asked to become an Ambassador for the Cape Town Cricket 6’s. This sports programme is set to deliver one of the most exciting amateur 6’s cricket events in the world. The CSR initiative #HitPovertyforaSix will also serve to enhance awareness and accessibility to the sport for those less fortunate. It’s a great initiative and I’m looking forward to being involved.” -Brett Schultz , legendary South African Protea cricketer from 1992 to 1997.
